Hi sorry if I’m not doing this properly or I’m posting in the right place but I have a focus 2ltr automatic push start that will only crank over twice then says engine fault no codes it’s new starter and a new fuel pump help please 🙏🏻

What are you using to read the codes?

New battery as well even had jump leads on as well unfortunately can’t tow it to start it due to automatic 🤦‍♂️ just when you press the start button only cranks the engine over twice I’ve had a obd and my friend put it on his laptop not sure the program he used but still nothing 

You need to try and get the DTC's or you will make little or no progress and spend a fortune.

If it has not already been tried you need a Laptop with Windows and the latest version of FORScan (free). Since you have a 2016 car then the correct connecting lead to use that will ensure that you get all of the codes is the vLinker FS. The older ELM327 cable is not suitable for your model year.

There are FORScan versions for use with Android and also iPhone which cost £7

You need a 'vLinker FD' adapter for android and a 'vLinker FD+' for iPhone.

You need to be aware that the phone versions can read everything the windows laptop can do, and also clear DTC's and service indicators, but can not do any programming.
