Have just discovered that because my focus mk3 has start/stop and cruise control that it’s not a standard master cylinder, can you get a decent aftermarket one cheaper than buying OE? Or is it not worth messing around and just biting the bullet and going OE???

only found this out after fitting one I purchased from euro parts and found they didn’t work, on reading the small print on line found it does say this…. So not there fault mine for rushing

    Most Mk3's had stop start and/or cruise.  I'm surprised they didn't just fit the same MC to all of them.

    Can't comment on aftermarket quality though.  If the one you've got appears well built then may as well just buy the correct one from the same brand.
