Lost key fob for my connect

Hi all hoping someone can help, for some reason as it's something I've never done but I've lost the key fob to my connect van.

I have the standard key so can open, drive and lock ghe van at the drivers door however I can now no longer lock any other doors so the van is at risk does anybody know if there is a way, I've tried locking via the lock button on the dash but if the doors open it just unlocks instantly.

 

Please help thanks

    I would take it to Ford to get the key cut and programmed, you will need to take V5

    I would also bring your wallet, fully loaded LOL A more economical solution is to acquire the services of a local independent locksmith...

    Check your car insurance and breakdown cover (AA, RAC) if you have it. You may find you are covered for a replacement if it has been lost. On a 2016 vehicle this almost certainly a job for the Ford dealership, expect to pay £199 give or take 50 pence. 🙁

    Yeah understand I'll need to get a replacement for an extortionate cost but just wondered why you can't lock all the doors without the fob by using the spare key as it doesn't operate the central locking from the drivers door so to get in the back you press the dash unlock button but again why can you not lock it from here!!! ridiculous as I now have an unsecured van until I replace the fob.

    Probably a security feature as the door locks are prone to easy access what you think.
