Please some help 2009 fiesta

Featured Replies

I’m hoping someone can help here.
move just purchased a 2009 Fiesta econetic tdci 90 for my daughters first car.  I work away and she said her car had a red light on, in to the garage and he called me to say it was because her handbrake was still on one notce !!!

so he then said the DPF was smelly and needed doing. Ok crack on but he gutted it and mapped it out without more bhp as enough already ! He said he needed to unplug a connector under the back seats but couldn’t find it and told me to do it ! Well I can’t find it ! This is what he sent

This car DOES NOT HAVE Adblue. It has additive. To delete additive you MUST delete the DPF. On DPF delete you must disconnect the EUREA (Additive) ECU. This is located under the drivers side rear seats under the carpet.

I took the car for a drive and it splutters very briefly then is normal again but does it constantly !

is this down to the DPF delete and not unplugging that thing he’s not unplugged ?
I’ve attached the exact car for reference.

thx

DPF delete is illegal and an MOT fail.

He's thinking of EOLYS fluid, but the Fiesta doesn't use it.  Was only Focus and larger models.  Fiesta has had?) a coated DPF so no need for EOLYS additive.

Just spent 5 hours ripping the car to bits to find it !
very strange it splutters since DPF gut and map.  Do you think an EGR delete would help ?

Probably just a poor quality remap.
