2012 Transit Diesel exhaust ??

Hi all, got a Transit and it's due an MOT but the previous  owner has cut the dpf off the front of the exhaust. The mot centre won't pass it because  of this, can I just replace the front section or do I need a whole new exhaust. ?

    You only need to replace the DPF. 

    However, DPF deletes also include a remap to stop the engine trying to regen when there is no DPF and to stop the engine light coming on after the DPF is removed.  So you'll probably need to have it remapped back in now.  If not, the DPF will just block up within a matter of months.

    Just found out it needs a whole exhaust  because  they have cut it off and welded two parts of the exhaust  together (very badly)
