Juddering and Stalling when stationary at lights

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have a 1.4 Diesel Ford Fiesta Titanium and I have had 3 occasions where I have been driving come to a full stop at some lights and when I go to set off my car judders like a rocking horse and then its as though I stalled my engine then makes a sound and battery light comes in. I turn engine off and then on again and then it does the same thing but as soon as I unplug my cigarette lighter and starter the car again I can move and the judder is not as intense and I can set off again.

Anyone had this issue and know what I can do to fix?

What's plugged into the cigarette lighter?
