I have just traded in my 2021 focus for a new 2023 fiesta and to be honest very disapointed, the OBD2 socket supplied my dasshcam on my 2019 Fiesta and my 2021 focus but ford in their wisdom have changed the pinout so there is no perminant 12v or ignition on 12v, also no modem or satnav a letter from ford said thank you for buying a new ford and to make the most of it simply log into ford pass (like the other two) to make the most of your new car, but no modem no connectivity.

I thought simple, 55 years working on car electrics easy peesy find the right fuses for a 12v feed and 12v ign on feed, imposible. you have to disconnect the fusebox and remove it from the car to see the fuses so no way of testing for a feed, there are loads of unused fuse holders but I cannot get any sense out of ford as to a wiring diagram, can anybody help please

It's just behind the passenger glovebox.

Look under the glovebox and remove the rear panel. At 71 years of age you might find this an interesting challenge as you practically have to work upside down 🤣

Thanks I will look today, 67 actualy but four strokes and five hernias (lifting engines and gearboxes) make it awkward upside down but I have used a mirror many times for such things, thanks for you help

Should still be a 12v permanent at dlc. Even a 2023. Probably fuse blown? Have you checked the dlc fuse? Its in that stupid engine bay fusebox you have to unplug to get to fuses as you found out. Fuse 52 10amp.

One of the reasons I used transmission jacks, engine cranes with help from others. And since age 53( now 59)  I've been taking it easy doing new car PDI mainly with diag, warranty and general light work . And even get get paid silly money for it too. Win win.

Did you recheck the dlc . I checked a new fiesta and the 12v is still there at pin 16.
