Brake Applied. Power Reduced.

Anyone had the above error when braking? Definately dont have the handbrake on or foot on the accelerator at the same time

Yes Caroline, my 2017 Fiesta has started giving me this message. Had it happen on two trips, went to garage, diagnostics showed no error message to them. Had a few shorter trips since then, and no message came up, but today, on a longer trip, it pretty much happened each time I applied the brakes, and with both gentle and harder braking. Like you, handbrake not on at all, and definitely not catching the accelerator pedal too. 😞 Must say I'm a bit worried about this.

Also, have notice my MPG is dropping far more than it ever has........ 😞

One of the brake pedal switches faulty or out of position??????
