2007 WA6 S-Max - Replace AFS Module?

Featured Replies

I recently removed both headlights whilst doing some work on the car and after putting everything back together the afs lights on both sides suddenly stopped working and i get the "front headlight malfunction" error on screen.

Everything else appears to be working fine and i've checked the fuses and all ok there too so I assume somethings happened with the AFS module when reconnecting the headlights?

Has anyone experinced this before and if so, if i were to get a replacement module off ebay is it a simple case of plug and play or do they have to be re-programmed for ford as ive read with many other manufacturers.

Im based in Sweden so its  a LHD S-Max but not sure if that is of any relevance.

Thanks for your help,

Scott.
