Foxwell NT520 Pro vs Forscan

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have this code reader, Foxwell NT520 Pro which is a self-contained unit. I can get Ford software for it for not much different to the price of the recommended adapter for Forscan. Does anyone else use something like this, or is Forscan the only sensible option?

The Foxwell is a handy tool but if you read through some of the post on the forum you will see even Snap on can not read all Ford specific dtc’s which FORScan will. Spend your money getting FORScan up and working.

I have the Foxwell code reader, but the only time I ever use it is if I'm not working on a Ford.

You can do much more with FORScan on a windows laptop and the vLinker FS lead, including programming changes.
