Hi all my window winder has snapped of tonight when i try to shut the window not the whole unit just the circle bit that you grip on to when shuting it so iam wondering is this a easy job to replace also do i have to take the door card off or does it just clip on and off its on a fiesta mk5 51 plate cheers alan.

    A pair of needle nose pliars will do the trick.

    The handle is held on by a circlip and if i remember correctly it a pretty fiddly little blighter.

    Handle can be bought for a couple of quid from a scrappy or if you prefer a nice new one in a ford box for £££££££

    p.s look behind the handle and you can just see the circlip behind the cup that sits between the handle and door card.

    Thank god i don't have to take off the door card i will have a look round the scappy today have a go at it tomorrow thanks.
