Space saver size / compatibility

I'm trying to find out what size space saver I need for a 2020 Mondeo (not a ST or anything sporty). It doesn't come with one from the factory, but I'd like one.

There are dozens on ebay, but a variety of sizes. All 16" and all 125 width but I'm seeing aspect ratios of 80, 85, one 70 and the occasional 90 (and mostly 4" rims, but a few 3.5" rims!)  The one from my Focus is 125/90/16 - could I use this?

So does it really matter, provided the PCD is correct (which are all stated as 108).

    Yes that is the normal default for 90% of Ford cars. Sometimes you get 17" on ST models because of the larger brake calipers on the front.

    The 80, 85, 90 is the side wall height as a percentage of the tread width. So a tyre 125/85/16 would have a side wall height of 106.25mm, and a 125/90/16 would have a side wall height of 112.50mm

    So in answer to your question, yes you can use the space saver wheel from your focus 👍
