Fuel Filter

Featured Replies

Probably of no interest to anybody but me. Decided to change the 17 year old original even though it has only done 47,000 miles. Genuine Ford replacement item only £13.00 and a ten minute job to do. I wondered just how much crud and debris would be in the old one so I opened it up with a hacksaw to see. All pretty clean internally and still in decent condition which surprised me. I have never let the tank drop below quarter full which I’m sure helps. Doubt that job will need doing again on the Ka for the rest of its life.

That's the reason they stopped fitting replaceable fuel filters to petrol's.

Are you not worried that some one might steal the car with that major increase in value? 🤣
