i have a 2007 ford fiesta zetec, the screen where the mileage meter, trip meter and others has gone blank, the speedo, fuel gauge and rev counter are all ok, I disconnected the battery yesterday,left it for a while and when i connected back up the screen was ok, went back out this morning and i had a blank screen again, disconnected again but nothing showing, it`s due for it`s MOT next month so it`ll fail if i cant get it working, any idea`s anyone, many thanks

Sometimes they fail in cold temps.  It might work once the cabin warms up.  If not, you'll probably need to replace the screen.

Have you had the solder joints on your cluster repaired? Assuming it's type 1 or 2a-d as depicted in my repair service ebay listing (https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/314393033915) then it's one that's commonly affected by cracked solder joints. This could perhaps relate, it's hard to know. I'd be happy to look at and repair the cracked joints for you if you like. If necessary we could also procure a replacement LCD and I'll fit it for you. They're not cheap.
