Dealer can't fix my car

Featured Replies

Ford Puma ST 2022 August.

Brand new on pcp.

Today it's 15 months old with 9.6k miles. Still under warranty.

Started getting a clunky noise for steering.

October 27th goes in to Ford, they fit new column.  Drives fine for 3 days noise come back.

Goes in again and gets another column and a clock spring. Again, drives fine for a few days and issue comes back.

November 17th new steering  rack fitted.

I turn on ignition wiggle the steering wheel, Still clunking and making noise. Plastic cowling surrounding of column and indicators is now moving when I turn the steering wheel. I walk back in they look at it and agree its not right.

They've always kept me moving with their own vehicle or enterprise rental vehicle.

So that's 3 attempts to fix my car, and its still at the dealership. What should I do?

I think the next time i goto collect it will be the same.

They already said trued to say some noise and movement is normal.

But the point is, for 9.6k miles since new I've had no noise and no movement.

Any advice appreciated

Ford customer relationship centre should help. As a last resort, I assume it’s pcp with Ford Credit and they can bring pressure to get it resolved.
