Hi hope somebody can help please Er0701 came up when the car was started from cold and it's in low power mode but everything seems to working correctly and there are no other codes. But the error will not clear so must still be active but what? This is a manual transmission car so baffled.....

    Very much depends on what code reader you are using. Generic code readers very often don't or can't read all of the Ford specific DTC's.

    Use FORScan and a vLinker FS cable to be sure to get all of the Ford codes and be able to clear fault DTC's.
