Fiesta 7.5 heated seat wiring

Featured Replies

I know this may be heresy, but I've fitted a pair of front half leather heated seats from a fiesta 7.5 into our campervan. They're comfy and the passenger one on a swivel plate gives us loads of space in the back. The weather has got cold now, and its reminded me that I need to wire up the heating !

Identifying the weight sensor wiring in the connector block was easy, and keeping well clear of the airbag wiring. I'm just not sure how to sort out the heating wiring now !

Each seat has an electronics module underneath for the heating elemnts , but I can't seems to match the wiring up to any of the diagrams Ive seen so far. Obviosuly I dont have the loom etc, so I'm trying to understand what the on seat wiring will do and what kind of switch I will need to add. If I cant find out I'll just have to dump whatevers there already and put a homebrew control of some kind directly onto the elemnt wiring.

All help welcomed !

Tim
