I wasn’t too sure where to put this so I decided that I’ll just chuck it here. as stupid as a question it might be I just want to be sure and know that I haven’t made a big mistake. 
 

while refilling it with Adblue the nozzle slipped out and started pouring into the small hole (difficult to see) which I’ve highlighted in the photo. If I had to guess how much I’d probably say about half a pint went through it. 

Is this a bad thing ?

    Yeah it’s just a drain hole. Let’s out water and fuel/ad blue spills.
