2013 focus with start stop button, key not working

Featured Replies

Hi all, my key isnt being picked up inside the car. I have bought a replacement fob from amazon but it needs coding to the car.

Has anyone got any idea how to do this please?

On vehicles 2013 and onwards it has to be done by a Ford dealer, for the ignition.

The Lock/Unlock buttons can be programmed by yourself.

Hi, thanks. Had breakdown come out to it yesterday while shopping and he said the battery was at 31%

Unofix, I seem to remember from your battery condition chart that keyless entry doesn't operate when a battery is less than 50% charged?

The keyless entry on the front passenger door and if fitted both rear passenger doors is disabled at 55%

The drivers door keyless entry will operate down to 50% at which point it will also become disabled.

Entry by pressing the button on the keyfob will continue to work down to around 30% after which time the battery just doesn't have enough power to operate the central locking system.
