Water leak

Hi was wondering if anyone could help I have a water leak in the back right behind the drivers seat of my fiesta mk8 2018 st line.
 

I know there may be a few issues, however was wondering if anyone has dealt with this before. The water is only in the bottom of the footwell and not in the surrounding areas. 
 

has anyone had this issue before and can share some advice on what it may be. We have had some heavy rain over the past few days and as it is winter I know the drainage pipes may be blocked etc. 

 

before diving into anything does anyone have some advice ?
