2017 ford focus 1.5 tdci- BTS MALFUNCTION?

Featured Replies

Recently bought a 2017 ford focus 1.5 tdci st line, around 70k miles.
had for around 3 weeks now and absolutely perfect car until tonight, all of a sudden on a journey tonight the car just cut out and said BTS malfunction on the dash and wouldn’t start again. Just starter motor noise, but all lights and radio still on so battery still working. After 15 minutes it started again after multiple times of trying. 20 minutes into journey started to judder and lose power and gain power again and then stopped once again to now not starting. It’s under warranty so will go back to dealer but just wondered if anyone has experienced this problem as I have researched and can’t find it on Google or any forums?

Do call back and update what the problem was when the garage fixes it.
