Light next to gearstick Mk7

Featured Replies

There is a red light next to the gear stick that seems to have some sort of socket attached- this alarmed today for no reason, but when I opened and closed the doors it stopped- any ideas as to what this light is for?

Cheers

It's an aftermarket old style vehicle immobiliser, possibly make by Cobra around the mid 2000's.

I had similar made by LaserLine. It was an override switch if ever your car remote didn't turn off the alarm properly...
