Mk6 fiesta issues

Featured Replies

So just joined this and I bought my mk6 fiesta for £500. So far it’s needed welding on the engine mount underneath, I’ve had to battle with a water leak in the boot! Thought I’d solved it but it leaked again last night. It had a coolant leak so I had to replace the coolant flange on the right side of the engine. It’s had a fan belt and a track rod end. Just feels like the repairs on this are going to be on going all the time. Wanted a cheap run around but think I’ve been too cheap! Also replaced the boot solinoid as the dash button didn’t work. Now when I park up it smells of really hot water If that makes sense. Coolant level is fine and can’t see no leaks off hoses or radiator and the temp gauge is stable too so that’s got me puzzled now. Am I flogging a dead horse here? It’s got 105,000 miles on it
