Ford Fiesta mk6 2006

Featured Replies

Hi there I'm new to the community. My Ford Fiesta Mk6 2006 was put off the road end of October as MOT ran out. It just started to get frosty outside with temperatures below 0 for a few weeks. I was waiting on a mobile mechanic to come look at it for MOT. Tried starting it mid November to keep battery charged and it wouldn't go past the immobiliser and the light is flashing rapidly. I read the immobiliser fault code 16. After the mobile mechanic let me down I got it recovered to a garage where they were unable to find the fault. Fuses are ok. I saw a video where fords my car's age cluster suffers from dry solder joints at the connector. Wondering if anyone else has or had same issue and if reflowing them joints helped it.
