Only one side folding when I lock car both can be adjusted when useing button inside car but driver side will not fold bought another mirror still will not fold

    Sounds like a broken wire in the loom if two mirrors have the same fault.

    I thought that but passenger side works intermittently

    One broken wire and one hanging on by a thread maybe.  

    Potentially a BCM fault but I would recommend having the wiring checked by an auto electrician before replacing any other hardware.
