Hi all, 

I have an extremely annoying sound coming from the drivers side window at speed on a motorway. It sounds like heavy wind deflecting off something and I have checked for air leaks in the window and find nothing. The passenger side is completely fine. 
 

I found online someone had the same

issue with it being a faulty wind mirror which I don’t wish to replace if it’s the case. Any ideas or has anyone come across this and found a resolution?

    Does sound like the wing mirror.  They are different on each side of the Mk4 which could explain why the passenger one is silent.  You could try folding them in (on a clear road where safe to do so) to see if the noise changes.
