Fiesta year 2006 1.6 zetec

when I decelerate and break the engine cuts out which cuts the power steering which is alarming. All instrument lights come on, when the car stops I turn the key to off then turn the ignition on again and it’s ok to drive. I have taken it to a garage but the diagnostic isn’t picking up any fault codes?

    Is it manual or automatic ?

    You need to use FORScan to be able to read all of the Ford specific DTC's. Generic code readers mostly do not read all Ford codes.
