Water leaks into Focus boot

I have a '64' Focus and am experiencing water leaking into the boot, somewhere between the body and interior trim.  It collects somewhere and runs underneather the floor trim into the spare wheel area.  My local garage has investigated and has plugged what appear to be possible areas of entry but it is still happening.  Has anyone else experienced this or have any ideas on solutions?

    First port of call would be the vents behind the rear bumper, I did mine on my 2014 Focus.
