Sat nav not working

We have just got a mondeo titanium 59 plate the sat nav wasn't picking up location. We found the sat nav disc and inside had a piece of paper with a sequence on. It said to press cd aux climate and home at the same time to update which we dis now we just have a message on the screen saying please insert dowload data carrier.  Anyone know how to get rid of this as no buttons around the unit now work either thanks.

    You probably need a new DVD sat nav disc.

    See eBay for the 2021 version (probably the last version available)

    Mondeo/Focus/Galaxy all use the same DVD.  eBay: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/353520718280?

    Thanks for replying. We have got a software update disc and new sat nav disc but doesn't do anything. When we put them in they spin for a time but then nothing.

    Can I just check that you are putting the DVD in the hidden slot behind the volume control knob, and not in the normal CD drive?
