Locking Wheel Nuts

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Recently had a nightmare with punctures. In the last case fortunately a mechanic stopped to help me get the spare on because I could get the nut off.

He told me the nuts always swell because they’re made as a 2 part piece with one part not steel. He advised me to get one part nuts for all 4 wheels to stop this happening in future. Can anyone recommend  or give me a link to where to get the right ones?

Fiesta TDCI 1.4 2010.

TIA

I bought a set of 16 1 piece closed nuts from fleabay and removed the 2 piece and locking nuts

Load of different colours or chrome or not

You can remove the pretty part and use a slightly smaller socket.   Not on the locking nut though.
