Steering rack and pinion belt

Featured Replies

Hi, I'm a Newby to this site. I've had my faithful focus 1.6 cdti 2015 for a good few years and it has now developed a rather annoying rachet sound when turning the wheel at stationary or low speeds. My husband says he can fix it but needs a rack and pinion belt,  but I can't find one for this model, it's the face-lift version. Can anyone help? I have found tge rack an pinion bearing kit but all the belts are for 2011-2015 whereas mine is 2014-2018 version.

**Second edit - Apologies for misinformation, post now deleted to avoid any future confusion**

There is a belt inside the steering rack but that part of the rack is not serviceable.
