Puma engine

Featured Replies

I have just bought a Puma one litre eco boost and I am hearing bad reports about engine problems.

It is a 2021 plate I have purchased extended warranty with the dealer Evens Halsway for an extra 3years

should I be worried 😔

Cams are run on a chain on this engine, just the oil pump uses the wet belt now.

Still always use the correct oil and never use flush

Sounds like a scam, never heard of that dealer 🤣

There is now a lot of misinformation out there about this. The engine you will have heard about has a "wet" cambelt which can be problematic. This engine has never been fitted to the current Puma which has a revised engine with chain cam drive.
