Hi all I am a new member and I love my Ford Mondeo 2.5 v6 automatic however I am desperate as after a long and expensive diagnostic journey my gearbox ecu is not working properly and no one seems to be able to repair it!!

I cannot find a second hand part and obviously Ford do not make them anymore so what do I do? Scrap my lovely working car because one electrical box is faulty just feeling very sad

Any advice gratefully received

    Yes I have found it in Russia not sure I will manage website maybe I can find  a phone number and maybe someone will speak English lol

    Thank you for your help I will persevere as I cannot bear the thought of having to scrap her because of this one part

    I did find two in America but they were both around $1400 plus customs duty and shipping so I guess abot $2000 by the time you would get it.

    Well just now I searched using a photo of part and a match came up in Germany from a parts place unbelievably only 15 euros and 10 euros delivery plus I could pay on PayPal it is a 2004 part not 2006 like mine but all the codes are the same

    too good to be true I think but worth a try

    Really big thanks to you guys for your advice it gave me the positivity to keep trying
