Hardwire dashcam to focus mk3 Titanium

Featured Replies

Hi all trying to hardwire dashcam on my 13 reg focus titanium and its driving me to distraction l cannot find a switched fuse to make it work. Obviously it is going to be simple have tried washer pump front fog lights l cannot get the piggyback fuse into 61 and it is driving me mad the ignition is keyless so this may have a bearing on it. Thanks Guys

I used F86 as recommended a few years ago.  It is for SRS though, so if I was doing it again, would probably try F76 for reverse lights instead.

This photo shows the tail from the fuse tap going to the left. This is correct. I've seen others with the tail going to the right, which is wrong, because in this fuse box the live inputs are on the right sides of the fuses. Doing it the wrong way round matters as it is more likely to blow a fuse and could therefore stop the original circuit from working.

Hello Chris and welcome to the Ford Owners Club. There are not many who wait 9 years from joining, before making their first post. 😉
