Clicking noise

Featured Replies

Hi my daughter has a MK6 fiesta , she's getting a clicking noise that seems to be coming from behind the stereo.

Looking online it's seems to be similar to the blend door actuator issue, however all the posts and videos I've seen suggest the actuators are on drivers side and passenger side, as the noise seems to be behind the stereo is there another actuator in the middle of the dash ???

Also all the videos I've seen are for left hand drive models are the actuators the same on both sides or are they sided if so which is which on a right hand drive car

Many thanks

Same heater units used on LHD and RHD cars so the actuators don't change sides.

Thank you for the information, is there only two actuators drivers and passenger side or is there one behind the stereo/heater controls, as the noise seems to be emanating behind the stereo

Pretty sure there are no cd's in there , but I will check again .

It sounds almost identical to the one I've seen on YouTube videos about the actuators, without further investigation it sounds as though it's behind the stereo , but I could just be the noise traveling
