unknown problem

owned my 2014 2.2 transit  (125 300 )for few months and no problems drives great for a few miles then suddenly starts to jerk/jump as if loss of power for a second or two was only doing this when in third gear but now doing it in all gears. if i stop and turn it of then restart is ok again for a couple of miles then happens again. also noticed the green gear change symbol not coming on when it happens may not be related.  tried to drive when it happens to see if it clears but no change and continues to jerk/ jump releasing the throttle stops it and will idle ok but will persist if not restarted. any help will be appreciated
