Can anyone give the recomended gear changes for economic driving for a 1.6TDCI as I can't find anything in the owners manual.I haven't owned a deisel before and it seems to have power band,thanks

    modern diesels drive about the same as petrol ones. and give better mpg.. there is nothing to say how you change gear,, drive and change gear about the same, just don't labour the engine. the power band that you talk about sounds like its the turbo kicking in.
