Need help identifying drain plug size of transmission

Featured Replies

Hi all!

As I have refreshed the ATF gearbox fluid once, I used the same plug and washer that was available originally. The car originates from 2010, and I believe (as the newest owner) I was the first one to ever refresh the fluid at 60.000 miles.

I would like to refresh it again in a couple of months. However, I want to use a new plug (and washer) as well. I can not seem to find any specifications in the owners manual, workshop manual or on the internet about the plug that is being used for this tranmission. Maybe someone here knows what size and thread size I am supposed to use / buy?

It's a 2010 Ford Fusion, 1.6 Duratec and has a automatic transmission installed.

Cheers!

personally i would just use a ford dealer or a motor factors as they have all the diagrams / part numbers.

We sell plenty of sump bolts and washers at our YMF factor depots, usually febi brands which i noticed recently that some bolts come with a washer now, maybe i never noticed previously.
