Featured Replies

Hi guys

hoping you can help, I’ve got a 2019 mondeo diesel auto. Been in a frontal accident airbags deployed. It now won’t start or roll. You press the start button and nothing happens. Has anyone had similar issues ? Can you help ?
thanks

Has the crash sensor(s) been replaced/reset ?

Not yet, car delivered today and refusing to come off the recovery truck

Automatic or Manual ?

Automatic

If the wiring to the PCM is damaged then the gearbox will be locked in park.

There is a semi-manual release to allow the gear selector to be moved from park to neutral to allow the car to be pushed.

Then the transmission can not be mechanically unlocked. The vehicle will need moved on skids

They must have got it on the truck somehow?  Why not take it off the same way?

It was probably just winched on if you weren’t there to see it.
