Radio replacement

Hi I’ve just purchased a apple car play unit to replace the factory stereo any advice on fitting this it does come with a factory looking surround to look factory if you no what I mean I take it the cd player and display have to be removed don’t think anything else has to be removed does come with plugs etc to plug straight into the existing plug any additional advice would be appreciated
