Park pilot issue Mk7

Featured Replies

I’ve bought a mk7 Titanium model for my son as his first car and the park pilot does not work, no beeping etc. I’ve noticed there are not sensors on the front bumper like the rear, is this normal.

Yes

Hi Adam,

Depends what system you have. There were several factory options on the Mk 7 Titanium which could include front and rear sensors, or rear sensors only plus a camera, so no front sensors could be perfectly normal.

Sensors were also a common dealer fit accessory.

Thanks! It appears this may be normal and it not having the front sensors but the rear ones appear not to work. When engaging rev the park pilot icon appears with exclamation marks at the from and rear of the car icon with no beeping. What could this indicate?

If it's factory park aid and the light is on on the "P" button on the console, that may stop it from working

Other than that, there is a fault
