Mk6 Fiesta - Xenon Headlights - Auto Leveling + Headlamp Washers

Featured Replies

Hi, i own an MK6 Fiesta 1.25 Zetec

I recenty fitted an H4 Bi-Xenon HID upgrade kit to the car before reading about them as I wanted them. I have now found out there actually illegal without the relavent things installed being:

- New Headlamps (non reflectors which mine are)

- Auto-leveling system

- Headlamp washing system

They should pass MOT as they do produce the correct beam pattern but obviously wouldnt pass as legal

Now ive already eyed up some new Halo Projector headlamps but do not really intend buying them, but I would if it isnt too costly to install these things.

I wanted to know would it actually be possible to fit Headlamp Washers to the car as I know none of the fiestas come with them fitted as well as the auto-leveling motors?

if it was possible it would defiantly cost hundreds.

just change the bulbs for the MOT. If they aren't blinding people like you say, the chances of getting pulled for it are extremely low.

iv'e never been pulled for mine and they are the 55w variant so they are even brighter than standard 35w HID bulbs.

Mine is a 55w 6000k kit and dont seem to be blinding people currently just was thinking to make it legal as long as it didn't cost too much but may just keep them quiet, swap the lights if they fail which im hoping they wont but MOT is due in March so a little while to go yet
