BMS Ford fiesta 2011

Featured Replies

Hi all, I’ve just changed the battery on a Ford fiesta 2011, do I need to reset the BMS as I can’t find any videos to do so on an older model. Any help is appreciated thanks.

I don't think that the 2011 Fiesta has a Battery Monitor System so the answer would be no.

Check the main negative battery lead where it connects to the battery terminal, does it have an inline sensor (about the size of a small box of matches) ?

Hi thanks for the reply no there’s nothing  on the negative terminal so I’m guessing I don’t need to reset
