Hello just noticed my usb socket in the centre console appears to stay live even when car locked,

I am using it to power a HUD.

Don't think it was doing this previously as Im sure I would have noticed.

I waited 12 minutes just now and it still remained on, anyone know if this is correct ?

Could a relay have got locked on ?

    Stays live for 20 minutes after the doors are locked.

    Haha went down to check this and as I thought previously it went out as soon as I locked dooors ? #confused

    It depends on your battery state of charge. If it’s low it turns off instantly.

    Use a multimeter and measure your battery terminal voltage 1 hour after parking to get the SOC.

    Below 70% SOC the auxiliary circuits are turned off when the engine stops and the ignition is off.
