S Max Faults

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I have read many of similar faults that my S Max is getting, which is all to do with the ESC Faults and hill start etc. Mine tends to pop up then disappear almost straight away, something else which is more worrying is that I now have intermittent smoke coming from the dash/engine bay. It seems to be originating from the rear of the engine, the problem is whenever I take it to the garage it doesn't do it! Has anyone else had these problems? My smell has been off for over a year since getting covid so I can't pin point it, my wife thinks its more electrical rather than a drop of oil burning off every now and again on the exhaust system or something.

I look forward to (or not!) any help that you guys may have with this.

Thanks in advance,

Max
