Hi guys never really use this much or mess around with cars but my dad said these forums are good for advice. Yesterday my car wouldn’t start but started straight away with a Jump start my car is. 65 plate Ford focus and don’t think the battery has ever been changed thinking of buying one today but seen people saying that the coding for my keys etc wouldn’t work if not fitted properly any help would be appreciated as I said am basically a noob at trying to fix cars 😂

    No coding of any kind required. Everything will work as normal.

    The Battery Monitoring System will need reset (BMS) but that is only a 2 minute job and no tools needed. If you have electric windows with one touch opening/closing you might need to reteach them, full instructions in the owners handbook.
