door panel

Featured Replies

my mot is friday, and i know they check doors to see if they open and close properly, and on my passenger side the clips wont stay in so the door panel gets in the way sometimes so i have to slam my door quite hard to shut it, where can you get the clips from and whats there proper name?

thanks for any help

The white clips that break when you try and pull them out?

I cant see it failing its mot for this but i suppose there is no harm in being safe. Not sure if they have a proper name and not just something like 'the most rubbish and useless clips in the world'

yep lol, ill try find someone just to make sure they dont fail it on something stupid like that.

thanks

trim clips are obtained from any good motor factor and are non expensive

If your that worried about it failing take the door cards off.

My Corsa went through MOT with ONLY 2 seats as an interior. No door cards, no carpets, no rear seats, no roof lining, no a pillar plastics, no b pillar plastics, no plastics in the rear or boot. etc etc. Shouldn't be a problem going through MOT in my opinion.

They probably didnt notice the difference from the normal corsa interior

oooooo fighting talk lol but true

True. Corsa's are !Removed! awful

I'm not sayin anything

And why not?

Cause i might get myslef into trouble.... everyone is entitled to their opinions

You can never get into any trouble on here with that pic up.

had to pay an extra 70 quid for reairs on brakes and the brake pedal needed the rubber bit and my side lights were illegal so they had to change them. but atleast mot is out of the way just tax now

Good good. Tax is a real killer on some cars now.

Tell me about it! :(

Good news about the car getting through it's mot without any major problems. Why where your side lights illegal?

  • Author

previous owner had rainbow side lights in, he said when the engine was on you couldnt see them, but at the mot they were flashing through the headlights, guessing you cant have coloured sidelights then.

my tax is 63 for 6 months, mums is 106 for that, so mines ok.

its also got its vic check next monday, but i know it will pass that
