Fiesta Titanium 2016 1.6L disabled aat sensor in IPC

Featured Replies

Hello.

I have had a problem with the aat sensor for several weeks, or so I thought; because after changing it 3 times I realized that the sensor was not the problem.

The thing is that the cluster shows -30 degrees, -40 degrees or -8 degrees several times a day and turns on the snow light on the road (frost telltale) and the air conditioning stops working. The climate where I live is always warm.

I have already installed several resistors until I obtain a fixed temperature of 30 degrees Celsius (86F) without variations and the light continues to turn on and the air conditioning turns off because the cluster is incorrectly interpreting the value.

I have already checked it with the scanner. That's why I need to disable the outside temperature in the cluster. I have ForScan and the As built data of this IPC.

Does anyone know where I can modify the as built data to disable it? In the option that is not as built data, it only allows me to modify the number of liters of gasoline.

Thanks in advance to everyone.

Try updating the software in the cluster, have a look what is available. That may be a glitch

Did they plug in and check?

Have you fitted a new sensor at all?

Three news sensors. Check all wirings fron sensor to IPC, No short to ground, no short to positive, not open circuit. Wirings are fine.

Dealer connected a VCM III with FJDS and the last IDS version. They put a new sensor, erase all dtc, we went for a ride, and frost telltale on and a/c off. In cluster shows -33 celcius grades. After that, clear dtc again an tried to find update but no luck. Said that this one dont have it, and didnt find a TBS about this.
