rt95
When should the EVAP Valve open to pull vacuum? I have a smell of fuel upon every start up. I was told it was possible EVAP valve and tested it with the easy method of pulling the cannister hose off and checking to see if the valve is constantly open. It's not stuck open, but even after engine is upto temperature it's still closed? Even with the solenoid connector disconnected. I asked my local garage if they smelt or suspected anything upon it's MOT last week and they said no as it passed. I have no engine light on and no other symptoms other than a bad smell of petrol really. Any ideas? Thanks!
