Losing water

Hi I have a st diesel 2015 and it’s losing water it’s ok if you drive it gently or leave running but as soon as you start giving it some beans it losses the water it’s had a new rad and water pump I drove it the other day and the heater was on hot but blowing cold then it went in the red on the temp gauge and the heater got hot car cooled down and it did this twice stopped and there was no water or you undo the cap and the water comes back in the tank but this morning I had to move it and it was toke ages to fire it turned over fine as it has a new battery
